I finally read Thor Heyerdahl's Aku Aku last month... can't help but cringe at the many ways he tricked the natives out of their family artwork. Different times I guess. What with the cost of airfare skyrocketing I rather think Rapa Nui's tourism may wane for awhile anywho. |
