So, she is dying, as shown by the last drops leaving the bottle. The owl is coming to take her spirit away to heaven, but the man has taken it. Is he the devil in disguise, or is he her lover trying to save save her life and protect her spirit so that it can't be taken away? Deep stuff you're drawing here.
