Thanks tiki tribe for the deep thoughts on this piece. Is she dying, or summoning her spirit servant? Or having a rum soaked vision? I'm reluctant to mention too much, as the image seems to be weaving a spell all it's own... and I'm not sure I could add anything more profound and mysterious than what GROG came up with. It's strange how the character's intent seems to alter with the removal of the smoke. Earl liked that the guy (or goon?) gets center stage in this one. I think it's finished... I'll give it a day or so and look at it again. Mahalo for the intriguing interpretations!
