The old Alameda newspaper that you're probably thinking about...locally owned and run by the Kaufman family (jeez this was a village) is long gone. Now the two papers are run and distributed by large media busineses out of Hayward and San Mateo. And yes, I totally agree on the burrito thing TIKI KAIMUKI. :) |
