another action packed year at oasis!!! our 4th and i swear it gets more fun every year.king kukulele truly is the king. entertaining as always!great seeing old friends and thanks to everyone we met this year.
otto and baby doe you did it again. thanks 4 everything.
Robert drasnin was amazing and a super cool guy to boot.
as for new bands on the bill i dug the creepy creeps alot but my vote goes to the ghastly ones for most entertaining!
dug the tunes you spun tiki tena and jeff big tiki dude and dj lee!
it is time to take off my tiki hat for just a bit. i'll be playing bass for matthew sweet on tour for a bit should you venture out-please say hi!
i don't have any fun ala tiki oasis 8 gigs for martini kings but have a super fun one planned at bordello(downtown l.a)on sept 21st with my surf band the del reys.
this is our record release party.
we will also feature 8 burlesque gals dancing with our band.
hope to see some tiki friends!
