If "Good Taste" is the much lauded enemy of creativity, how far is too far and who gets to draw the line?

These Coconut palm tikis are harvested from a private reserve and undeniably carved with great character by talented Siargao carvers. Features are fluid but crisp and sharp, without falling victim to the lathed look of Home Depot's brightly painted Chinese tikis.
