Sorry, I can't tell if you are male or female, but if female, you can't go wrong with jewelery. Price ranges from pennies-millions!

Personally, I love vintage hand made glass fruit, flower, and bird, jewelery. Ususally Italian or Czech in origin and very detailed. But beware, just like tiki mugs there are many repros! I also live gaudy rhinestone stuff in all colors! You can throw on a black tank and a stunning piece of jewelery, and you're ready to go!

The best thing about collecting jewelery is it goes out for all to see! People don't have to come to my home to see my collection and I always get comments! I currently make beaded jewelery, (I'm actually getting backed up on orders) and when I wear a vintage glass fruit piece to the bead shop for supplies, the shop owner and customers ohh and ahhh!

I've collected vintage clothing for many years and often get "wow, were'd you get that outfit?" There's a nice feeling in knowing that people can't just go to the mall and get what you're wearing. Styles always come back too. I saw a show that said polka-dot sundresses, 50's style are in this summer. I just thought "Hummm, I have those" Try a portable collection-you'll get instant feedback.
