I found these New Zealand Maori items at an estate sale today. The longboat is 14". The mask is 4'3" tall and has boars tusk for a nose piercing and embedded shells around the eyes, nose, mouth,chin and cheeks. The previous owners were missionaries. Does anyone have any info on this type of mask? |
