Hi,
I'm a french architect, fond of the americana AND the Hawaiiana too, I've been living in French Polynesia a couple of years ago. (check my site: http://www.tahitiblues.blogspot.com you'll find many stories about sacred tikis, drawings and photos about the FENUA, the Mother Earth of the Maohis.
This year, I went to FLorida at the end of July, and we stayed a week in Miami Beach. Our last trip was back in 1991! Quite a change. We found a couple of tikis and a very enjoyable restaurant, the "BarB QUE Beach cafe". See this new blog: http://www.miamisouthbeachblues.blogspot.com !
they have a special "Baby back ribs" !!
bye
stephane
