We have made it to Lawrence, safe and sound (albeit a nasty orgeat emergency, more on that later) and just returned from the Sand Bar and Free State Brewery. If you're from out of town, go to Free State and order the gumbo. It's totally awesome. 5 out of 7 of us ordered it and loved the shit out of it. Sand Bar was pretty quiet tonight but at least I got a free shark!
