There's the LAST party at that special place in Holmby Hills. No more parties after this one sez Hef. :( Alas, O' Deke can't make it so, Mrs. Kahala and I have deceided to throw a party at our shack.

Going to be a two part party to accomodate everyone. A family oriented one and a later,... ummm... more adult one with our friends.

The family oriented party starts at 5pm with a dinner. Mrs. Kahala is making individual pizzas with the top cheese shaped into spiders, witches and pumpkins for the kids. She even made her own marinara sauce. I wanted one of a naked chick but was shot down. Then the kids with moms and dads head out for o'fashioned trick-o-treating.

For the adults its more of a potluck style with a Japanese influence: sushi, teriyaki beef, chicken, coconut shrimp, etc. Of coarse there will be several American dishes for the very few who don't eat "fish bait". A pot of chili, a meatloaf shaped into bear claw and a volcano shaped garlic mashed potatoes. Mrs. Kahala and two of her friends are setting up the food into a Halloween themed style, when possible.

Cool thing is everyone is dressing up, even my 83 year old grandmother 8) and everyone is keeping their costumes a surprise.
Family oriented party plans to end around 9pm-ish according to the moms and dads of the kids and grandma.

Mrs. Kahala is dressing up as a witch and her dress converts to a more sexy version for later in the night for the party with our friends. O' Deke is doing the best impression I can of Captain Jack Sparrow except no wig or fake facial hair required. An artist friend is applying Mrs. Kahala's makeup, my makeup, hair beads and braids.

With plenty of Califorina vino, beer, rum, volka, tequila and a batch of "Deke Kahala's Sniki Tiki" cocktails, it should be a great night.
Should be close to 30 people.
