I was gonna say to use a knife (hook?) to trace the inlay so you have a nice edge then use a bur to route out ll but the edges, then deepen the knife cut and use a small flat chisel to cut up to the line? Of course there are a zillion other ways to skin this cat! Lookin Great too!
