Hi Tikinaut, I've been watching this thread since it started as I live in Pittsburgh, PA, and palms don't exactly grow here and I really want to make some. Anyway, that is the stand I use for my Christmas tree, and it works wonderfully. I have it mounted on a lazy susan bearing from Home Depot, which is in turn mounted on a 4'X4' sheet of plywood, makes putting lights on VERY easy, just spin the tree... PW |
