I went over to Babalu's house today and glazed another mug and worked on the new drum.
I got the ouside all smoothy like

and finished hollowing out the inside

It's smaller than the last drum. It's 16 1/2 inches tall. The diameter of the drum rim is 12". The older drum's diameter is about 12 3/4".

And speaking of the older drum, here are the final finished and detail shots of it:
