First two King Kukulele & The Friki Tikis releases available through Paypal now! “The London Luau Presents: King Kukulele & The Friki Tikis Live At Trader Vic’s” (the Gold Album) was recorded during Europe’s largest tiki event, the London Luau, in 2006 and released the following year. Featuring 21 tracks, including 10 originals (5 compositions and 5 improvisations), and 6 cover songs. Songs include: "London Luau","What Do You Mean","Hi'i Lawe","Sakura","Polynesian Paradise", and "Hawaiian Cowboy". Featuring cover art by SHAG! Also Available: The self-titled debut CD “King Kukulele & The Friki Tikis” (the Purple Album) was recorded primarily in 2001 leading up to the Friki Tikis residency in Japan, and was finished and released in 2004. Featuring ten and a half original tunes, the album mixes upbeat hapa haole and light hearted novelty with lounge flavored ballads. “Hula Maidens” was written and performed for the Polynesian Paradise Dancers on the television show “Essentials”. The song “Fish, Fruits, and Nuts” was accompanied by a music video shot in 1997 in the Hidden Village at Sam’s Seafood, Huntington Beach, CA. Featuring cover art by SHAG!
