I remember OnaTiki rattling off a very short list of younger carvers whom he respected and recommended I watch very closely over the next few years. I would meet one of these fellows at Oasis in 2006 and shortly after aquire this wonderful piece from him, then poof... While Kirby's disappearance and subseqent re-appearence without having aged is, well damn it, THE STUFF OF LEGEND!!!! But his artwork has also eerily endured.
