I just saw the colorized version of "The Great Rupert" ("A Christmas Wish" on DVD) and I thought it was great, great fun! I loved it! I never even heard of the movie, and was surprised to find that it was a George Pal production, directed by Irving Pichel! Definitely a very sweet and amusing film that works pretty well today, some fifty-odd years since it was made. |
