Hey all,
Has anyone had any experience with Salt Cedar? I picked up (pun) a 5' long, 13-1/2" in dia. salt cedar log yesterday. It must weigh about 375-400 lbs. It took 3 of us (one being a 6'4" 240 lb guy....he makes about 2 of me, the other being my wife) to get it out of the truck and into my back yard without any trips to the ER. It's probably full of water, which when its dry should lose about 80 lbs.
It seems like a solid chunk of wood, but I assume it will change when dried out.
Let me know what I'm in for.
Good luck to everyone out there in this crappy economy.
