Today's sunset:

These days, it's getting so I cannot tell one sunset from another.

My plan for the day was to trim the hide for the little drum, soak it, and then apply it to the drum. After I cut it and placed it in the tub, I decided to carve a quick tiki to kill some time. I split one of the logs that I cleaned a couple days ago and chopped into it.
Here he is after a little work:

A little more work done and I redid the lines for the face

Here it is now:


It's pretty much done, except for some stuff I'll take care of while sanding
