Aloha, and let me explain this :D

I'm part of a contest being run by some adult lego fans on a flickr group called SCI-LUG.
The contest is to build a small spaceship under a certain set of dimensions.

As somewhat of a Tiki-aficionado (as well as avid lego nerd), I've had this idea in my head for a while now, and when the contest came along I just had to let it out!

"It's perfect for defending space transports as they ferry their cargo of pineapple-juice, coconuts, and silver rum, from planet to planet."

More pics can be found here on Flickr.

For those of you who don't completely get the play on words:
You probably know who Trader Vic is. Obviously.
And a "vic viper" is a type of space ship, from the Gradius series of videogames. It's a very popular spaceship type that lego fans will build and add their personal touches to.

Just thought I'd share something silly with you all.
Mahalo!
