What do you call the ratio of single men to single women in a ski town like Mammoth Lakes, CA? You might consider the name of this neo-tiki restaurant and bar opened in 2003. Lakanuki.

The place certainly looks the part with its Oceanic Arts décor and fake Shag murals. Do they know how to mix a Suffering Bastard, Missionary’s Downfall, or even a Zombie? Nope, they’ve never even heard of those drinks. The Mai Tai isn’t great but it doesn’t suck either.

OK, so it’s not Forbidden Island in the Sierra but where else are you going to find tiki at 8000 foot elevation?
