Here's another from distant lands......The Beachcomber's of the Butlin's Holiday Camps that were once located right across the United Kingdom.

The cool menu that looks like some of their postcards and features some of the decor that were inside these locations. This is a pre-1963 menu.

This is a shot of one of the earlier Beachcombers that was at the Minehead Resort location in Somerset (about 5 Hours from London).
It shows some of the cool decor that truly made these places a great escape from everyday life. Lot's of stuff hanging from the ceiling, waterfalls and waterways with bridges, carvings, rattan, bamboo, tropical foliage and check out the band under that roof!! Nice place!!

The next one I was thinking was the grand old South Pacific in Hallendale, Florida.
Another with a really great exterior that seemed it's own Island paradise!
