Today I decided to do something about it. I wrapped the bisqued trees in saran wrap, and sculpted some fresh custom-fit mug cup toppers for them. Hopefully the shrinkage won't pose too great a problem and they will still fit after firing. This is the third attempt at sculpting a brain I liked for these mugs.
