G'day again, Thanks for all the kind words ... I've finished this guy now and have a couple of pics to share. The wood is pine as Ben said - I pulled several long planks of the stuff from a construction site skip ( Dumpster ). I have plenty more to play with now but the challenge was finding a Tiki to fit the profile ... the Moai seemed best. On to the next one ... working on a big Moai head cocktail bar stand! :D Cheers, Simon.
