Neither the Garden Room bar or the Captain's Cabin bar at Cosmo Place looked remotely like the one pictured. I never ventured upstairs at Cosmo (way too much of a neophyte then) so I can't say so with authority, but I highly doubt Vic would have used the checkered table cloths at his very elegant San Francisco flagship. Not trying to be cranky, but with the number of times "authentic" is bandied about this place, it is good to accurate. Regardless, what a damn cool resource! Cheers!
