They are more suitable for tabs & fags (cigarettes) than egg & chips, being about 4 or 5 inches across. It was after finding one of these in a small antique shop in Bath that I first thought, 'What if they made a matching mug?'. And the rest is history, played out in this very thread!! Trader Woody
