They are located on a side road by the Santa Cruz Medical Clinic, which is located off the Mount Hermon Road Exit. From Highway 17 North, take that exit and bear right toward the clinic, stay on the low end of the driveway/road and they are on the right. From Hwy 17 South, take the exit, go over the overpass and follow above directions after bearing left toward the clinic.

The attraction you mentioned with the trees and dinosaurs was called "Lost World" at one time and "Scotts Valley Tree Circus." That was located on Scotts Valley Drive. If you take the above-mentioned exit and follow it to Scotts Valley Drive, Lost World used to be located perhaps 3/4 to 1 mile up S.V. Drive on the right. There is now a business park built there with one of the original trees in the front. It is right before you reach Scarborough Drive/Way. I have pictures of this, too, before the business park was built. There are 13 of the trees that were saved from this park on display at Gilroy Gardens (formerly Bonfante Gardens).

Incidentally, one of my favorite things is across the road from the former Tree Circus where there is now a body shop. There is an old black and white sign on a post that proclaims "Scotts Valley Motel 10 mins from beach."
