hi all~ thanks for posting the great postcards, i always enjoy examining them and seeing the heyday of buildings that have since fallen decrepit and putrid. as for bigbro's question, the modesto tropics indeed had a sambo's next door to the lounge as shown in the postcard. here is what it looked like: and here is what it looked like in 2007: |
