SF has a new law as of last year allowing an application for the interior of a building to be a landmark. SF historical preservation group HeritageYP (www.heritageyp.org) has agreed to prepare the landmark designation report process for submission to the Historic Preservation Commission! I will keep you all posted - after the application is submitted, then we can email the Commission and attend the hearing to convince them to approve the application.
