I too am using a cheap Barbie as a model! :D Actually, I'm working from different reference materials. From old postcards and pictures to my own photos. The cartoony stuff is made up but I might use some references for poses, BG's, plants, etc... The missus is quite an exotic beauty so hopefully I can get her to don a grass skirt, lei, and a pareo too! Speaking of pareos, here's my next progress sketch shot.
