The only thing that makes it work less well for me than 'Kona Lanes' is that there is so much intricate and busy stuff going on in the sign itself, that it somewhat detracts from the rest of the painting, fine as it is. So it becomes more ABOUT the sign, which is super eye-catching. But the simpler, iconic lines of the Kona sign are in perfect harmony with the architectural balance of the rest of the piece and the result is... CLASSIC! :drink: :tiki:
