Yesterday's sunset: Yesterday was sit around and watch crap dry day. After a couple more coats of oil, the knife was drying: And, the table set dried away the day too I wanted to work on something yesterday, but not on clay, and not on something large either. I grabbed one of my new pieces of ficus and milled down a little plank. I drew up a design and took to it. Here it is drawn out. The plank is 15.5" long, 2.25" wide, and .5 inches thick: I don't have one of them fancy outline saws, so I do the rough cutting with a hookknife Here it is later on with a phone and the knife for scale After some body work Here's where I left it last night: To work I go... |
