Thank you very much Benzart, Tahitiki, GROG and buzzard!
So I've kept going with the second guy, following Benzart advise to cut all the way trhu at some parts (mouth and eyes were my choices), and I wanted to try making textures too, so this is how he is looking now

and here one with his other friend

I have two more bamboos I think I'm going to make a drummers band... :)
