Yes, sometimes it seems there's more tiki culture on the mainland. But I think we are definitely seeing more and more Tiki culture surge back here on the islands. The Thor Store in Waikiki. Revamp in the international marketplace - but didn't remove all the tikis (thank goodness!) The article features a new tiki themed bar on Maui named The South Shore Tiki Lounge. The magazine found them, then found out they had some of my art... one thing lead to another. beachbumz~ Big Mahalo! Funny, I really didn't even know there was a Arts and Culture On Maui magazine till they contacted me. I do get over there once in a while. I can't wait to see how it all looks in print!
