Eerie and beautiful! One of my favorite songs is "Elvis on Velvet" by the Stray Cats. It's one of the many songs on my continuous I pod rotation I listen to while I work. Now, every time I hear it I think of you Robb Hamel! - and your amazing velvet paintings. Not that you've done an Elvis on velvet painting... that I know of. But, I can only wonder at kind of what moody low-brow masterpiece you'd make of it. Big aloha! |
