Speak Easy Bamboo Room at the Georgian Hotel - General Tiki

The owner had a club in the basement though the prohibition. I read on Critiki about the Lady Windmere. My mother Ione spoke of the Bamboo Room from time to time. I had some extra time yesterday so I asked the manager about the Bamboo Room. "The Speak Easy?" Its used for storage now. Sometimes they have events. He was nice enough to let me see the space and photograph it. I decended into a narrow stairwell into a swank club. Pictures on all the wall. Like a time capsule. There must have been many great parties here over the decades. The Georgian is celebrating their 75th this year. Maybe they'll have a Prohibition Party?
