Also, one of the cheapest places to stay in Kona, but no A/C...It gets hot there in Kona by the ocean. http://seasidehotelshawaii.com/HotelKona.aspx No photos on the site, but there is lots of Tiki and Hawaiian there (like alot of Kona) .....built in the 60's/early 70's....The Lobby is especially cool. http://www.konabeachhotel.com/ Torches blaze every night at the entrance....Again, another very old Hawaiiana place, but it's not well maintained, so I wouldn't advise staying there. They do have a Luau, tho' which you can purchase tickets for separately. Stayacross the street at the seaside for cheaper....It's more no frills, but a little cleaner, and much less expensive.
