I think the white billowy drapery, and indonesian stylings were installed by the people who turned it into Sam's v 2.0. . They were also the ones who stripped the Hidden Village of alot of the foliage, and took all the thatching down too. Kona/ Chuck pretty much left it the place as it was, and actually added some of the cool PolyPop stuff back.

Either way, the addition of the thatching to the bar and other areas really looks great. Personally, I think the entryway could use a big-ass Tiki (Diablo ? Ray ? Bosko?) inside the doorway to greet travelers on the way in.
