Many of you know the ensemble "Combo Mahalo" from Austin, Texas. The steel guitar player, Tony Locke, went on from there to play with honky-tonkin' Wayne "the train" Hancock. GREAT STEEL PLAYER, by any measure, and doing some incredible stuff with Wayne.

Sunday night, Tony was severely beaten and sustained life threatening injuries that forced him to leave the tour, and Wayne's band. Here is a link to donate to help alleviate his medical bills and help him while he is unable to work as a professional musician.

Again, whatever you can donate will be appreciated!

Mahalo,
TJW

Many of you may remember him playing with Combo Mahalo at The Hukilau a few years ago here in Florida. He's a really quiet and nice guy, and a one helluva steel player. If there's anything you can donate to help, it will be truly appreciated!!!

WARNING: the article contains a link to a photo of Tony after the beating. It's pretty f'n bad.
