The one thing I love about velvet paintings is how the colors pop off the canvas because they contrast so brightly with the background. Are yours more on the darker side? If so have you thought about adding in more highlights to get a different effect? I do like your paintings-I like that you are doing more realistic paintings vs. the cartoon drawings you have done in the past. Certainly shows how talented you are tackling both mediums and how you have a great end result. I was just curious about how the appear in person.
