An interesting addition to this rich history: actor Bryan Batt's (Salvatore on "MAD MEN") grandfather was behind the creation of Pontchartrain Beach and Bali Hai. Learned this from the "In The Land of Cocktails" show: His brother Jay was filmed for a previous episode as well that shares a bit more on the history: Perhaps we'll see further tiki influence on upcoming seasons of "Mad Men"!
