" There are going to be allot of variables in this cure time like type of wood and climate. All my wood has been Alder so i like carving it wet, but not green wet. For me its been good around 3 months up to a year. The year old stuff has been outside in a damp climate. I have been only carving for a couple years, so this has been my limited experience in Alder. I hope someone else pipes in hear with some better info for ya.
