O

Aloha! Can I reply to my own post? Sure why not! There's no way the Tiki tribe is going to dis me like those other guys.....;P
Anyway I just listed the second set of Skipper Kent's salt and pepper shakers on Ebay. The link is http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=29460&item=3236246907
FYI for the hard core collector, everything in our Skipper Kent auction is from Skipper's personal collection, including the weapons, whihc were displayed in the restaurant, and the Mexican stone and obsidian figures, which are from the restaurant gift shop. The other items are personal items collected on his travels including personal jewelry, yachting plaques, chinese jade, books, etc. Skipper's wife Lucille was a San Francisco painterd, and we have some of her work as well. I have become fascinated with Skipper and his story, and would love to hear any Skipper Kent stories anyone has to share. ALSO! I have seen...THE GOLDEN TIKI! But alas, it slipped through my fingers! One of the items in the collection is an amazing crackle glaze golden tiki glass, with a personalized message to Skipper "with special thanks from Bob" if I recall correctly, on the bottom. I was stunned by its aura, but the owner decided to keep it at the last minute along with a few other personal items. The GOLDEN TIKI haunts me still.....
