Leave it ALONE !

I say make it a Historical Landmark, preserve it, maintain it, cherish it. Maybe have more "hand made" goods vendors there, but otherwise, it's a landmark, and should be treated us such.

Waikiki has enough "upscale shopping" for 10 cities.
