Pretty amazing how on Friday night I met someone who was telling me about this 'surf documentary' (meeting me for the first time, not really knowing my involvement in the surf community). Then he mentions it is going to be showing at 'some club with a weird name....Otto's something or other'. I said, 'Otto's Shrunken Head'? he said excitedly, 'YES!'. I asked, when? answer was this coming Saturday 6/20 at 7 pm. Then I told him I have a special START-OF-SUMMER SURF-ROCK SHINDIG that follows that! Pretty freaky. On Saturday at the MaiKai I was introduced to the gentleman who is behind this film. Can't wait to see it! The Tiki Gods were totally screwing with me at the Hukilau over this!
