Why thank you guys for the props!

Toe, your muggy is still here waiting for you...it does have a little crack behind one of the eyes. I'm going to fix it by adding a little paper clay and re-firing it. I just found out this last weekend that this works fine.

OK, on with stuffs... What a weekend! I had a little Clay Jam in Denver with some of my "dearest friends" and fellow artists...we didn't do a lot of work, but we did sit around and had a great time talking Art, glazes, trouble shooting, etc. It was so much fun, the time just zoomed by.

I went on and on about how cool the Tiki Culture was and I think I got some of these folks all jazzed up to come over and play with us some. Watch out TC...there is some real amazing talent in this little group of people here. Handbuilding will take on a whole new dimension as these gals are excellent throwers and glaze specialists. Thrown and altered tiki mugs...I salivate just thinking about it. For some reason, I can't remember the guys name in the middle there, but he was this really cool cat from England who is a master mold maker and educator... a wealth of knowledge...I'll come back with his name (sorry).
