Every time I go home I HAVE to drive the coast as much as possible. I usually exit in Oceanside (Hwy 76/Coast Hwy 101, looks like 54A on the map) and take it all the way to Mission Beach. Take the scenic road thru La Jolla, or to Sunset Cliffs. The bluffs are beautiful!
