Not a whole lot of info, but I found that this restaurant had a bad fire in 1954, killing 2 employees, then another fire on January 28 1961, which destroyed the building during the end of a Polynesian themed remodel. A spokesperson said that the Saxony will be rebuilt again in the Polynesian theme. Looking at google maps, there is still a restaurant at this location. |
