While I know it comes down to personal preference it's a tough decision. Do I sand everything and remove all those beautiful chisel marks? decisions the wood on this was a single log of either a white mahogany or tallow and has a great colour variation about two to tree inches in, can't wait to get varnish on this to make the grain pop out. feel free to critique or throw in your finishing tips. on another note my Mongo Bongo Lamp prototype is glazed and ready to be made into a mold.
