machinelf: thank you. MadMikeDoggie: I sometimes call them hibiscuses myself. Leeleeliz: everybody (flowers included) should have a companion (hint, hint). Here is the finished article:
"Red Velvet Hibiscus" - 11x14 - velvet mounted to bristol board. I got improvisational on the leaves, which is crazy on velvet, but got results I couldn't have planned out.
